🏡 What are Floorish rugs made of?
Each rug is made from phthalate-free, non-toxic PVC (vinyl) and printed using a direct inkjet method with UV-cured inks for a realistic vintage tile look. They’re wipeable, low-profile, and perfect for kitchens, entryways, and other high-traffic areas.
🧽 How do I clean my rug?
Just wipe clean with a damp cloth or mop and a gentle soap if needed. No vacuuming, no washing machine — easy as that. Do not use harsh cleaning products/chemicals or abrasive cleaning tools.
📏 What sizes are available?
We offer several sizes — from small mats for kitchens and entries (like 2x3 ft) to larger 3x5 ft and 5x7 ft rugs for living spaces. Exact sizes and thicknesses are listed on each product page. If you have a request for a different size please reach out and we will try to make it happen!
🚚 How long will my rug take to arrive?
In-stock rugs usually ship from Ottawa within 2–5 business days.
Preorder rugs ship as soon as the incoming batch arrives — you’ll see the estimated arrival date on the product page (for example, “Arriving mid-November” or "Arrive in 6-8 weeks"). We will keep you updated on the status of your order. Once your order ships, you’ll get a tracking link by email.
💌 Do you offer local pickup?
Not right now — all orders are shipped for your convenience (and privacy). We do occasionally sell in person at Ottawa markets and pop-ups — sign up for our emails to find out where we’ll be next!
🔄 What if I need to return or exchange my rug?
Most rugs can be returned within 7 days of delivery if they’re unused and in original packaging. Customers cover return shipping, and refunds or store credits are issued once the rug is received in good condition. Please reach out to us to discuss any returns.
Shipping fees are non-refundable. Clearance or custom rugs are final sale.
🌸 Do you do custom sizes or designs?
If there’s a size or pattern you’d love to see, let us know and we'll try to make it happen!
We’re always testing new styles, so let us know if there are designs you'd like to see us make in the future. Send us pics of real tile floors or other inspiration and our design team will take a look.
🚪Are these anti-fatigue mats?
No — Floorish rugs are thin vinyl mats, not foam or cushioned anti-fatigue types. They’re made to stay flat and look like real tile floors while being easy to wipe clean. They are inspired by traditional linoleum floorcloths that were popular in the 1800s and 1900s.
📦 Where do you ship?
We are located in Ottawa and offer affordable local delivery. We also currently ship across Canada (and may expand to the U.S. soon, if there's enough demand). Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
